HOPPA is hiring full-time English teachers for preschool locations across Tokyo, Chiba and Kanagawa. Teachers work with children aged 0–5 in a warm early-childhood environment.
Responsibilities:
• Teach fun and engaging English lessons.
• Participate in daily routines, story time, songs and play.
• Support Japanese staff with school activities and classroom tasks.
Requirements:
• Native-level English with clear pronunciation.
• Must currently reside in Japan.
• Valid Japanese work status, such as Spouse, Specialist in Humanities, Long-Term Resident or Permanent Resident.
• Experience teaching or working with preschool-aged children.
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and a positive attitude.
• Japanese is not required, but is an advantage.
• Monthly salary: ¥245,000 for university graduates or ¥235,000 for non-graduates.
• Regional allowance of ¥9,000–¥19,000 per month, depending on area.
• Two annual bonuses, paid in June and December.
• One-year renewable full-time contract with the possibility of permanent employment after one year based on performance.
• Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend teaching except special events.
• 10 paid vacation days after six months, plus a paid birthday holiday.
• Most national holidays off.

• Commuting costs covered up to ¥30,000 per month.
