Taipei European School’s British Primary Section is seeking a dedicated and passionate Supply Cover Primary Teacher to work on an on-call basis, covering staff absences across different student groups. The role requires flexibility, adaptability, a caring and positive attitude, and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for pupils.
Responsibilities include setting high expectations, promoting pupil progress, demonstrating strong curriculum knowledge, planning well-structured lessons, adapting teaching to student needs, using assessment productively, managing behaviour effectively, and fulfilling wider professional responsibilities.
Candidates must have recent experience in an educational setting that can be verified through references. Required qualifications include a Bachelor of Education, Master’s in Education, or Graduate Diploma of Education in Primary Teaching, plus a valid government-issued teaching licence. A minimum of two years of formal school teaching experience is preferred. Candidates should be current with teaching practice and pedagogy and committed to educating the whole child.
