Taipei European School’s British Primary Section is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join its Additional Learning Needs team from August 2026. This is a one-year contract with the possibility of extension depending on school needs.
The role supports neurodivergent and at-risk students, including learners with autism, ADHD, and learning differences. Working under the ALN Department Coordinator, the assistant will support students in class and in small groups; reinforce evidence-based instructional strategies; prepare differentiated resources and tailored homework; monitor progress; contribute to student IEP discussions; maintain student support files; and participate in relevant meetings and professional-development training.
Applicants should hold a degree in Education, Childhood Education, Special Education, or a related field, or a relevant qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools. Fluent English and at least two years of relevant experience in a school or similar setting are required. International-school experience, safeguarding knowledge, and familiarity with multicultural settings are advantageous.
