It’s a Christian school. They require teachers to be Christian (or at least say that they are Christian). They require daily Christian prayers… Facilities look old and not well-maintained… all management at the school, from Head of School down to Head of IB, are Taiwanese, so be prepared for old-school, Taiwanese-style management
It’s an MOE school, which means that it’s governed by the Taiwanese government. That comes with a bunch of stuff that some international teachers have a hard time with (required curriculum, more contract days per year, weird holidays…)
Taipei Kuei Shan School is a private Christian International Baccalaureate (IB) World School located in Beitou District, Taipei.
