Seoul Foreign School is seeking a full-time MYP/DP French Language Acquisition Teacher commencing August 1, 2027.
The teacher will support French language development across the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme. Responsibilities include designing differentiated learning materials, developing and updating ManageBac unit plans, teaching inquiry-based and concept-driven lessons, assessing and reporting student progress, providing timely feedback, and collaborating across the World Languages department.
Additional responsibilities include participating in curriculum articulation and moderation, supporting MYP Personal Projects and DP Extended Essays, supervising Service as Action and CAS activities, communicating with families, attending faculty and department meetings, and taking part in IB and other relevant professional development.
Requirements:
• Native-level French or an equivalent qualification to teach French
• Recognized teaching qualification or certification
• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience
• Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and technology skills
• Flexibility to teach different age groups
• Master’s degree in education preferred
• International-school and MYP/DP teaching experience preferred
• Successful safeguarding, reference, and criminal-background checks
