Job Description

The Mathematics curriculum at Shanghai High School International Division is designed to make Math fun and exciting by lighting up students’ minds in the classrooms, and to make teaching and learning a more exciting and rewarding experience for both learners and teachers. Through daily homework assignments, creative classes, projects, and regular examinations, students will gain a basic understanding of how Mathematics knowledge is acquired, analyzed, and utilized in the fields of Mathematics.

Essential Functions:

Abide by the teachers’ rules and regulations, attend orientations, staff meetings, and parents’ meetings, and participate in educational activities on time
Provide support to schools/principals as designated
Understand and respect the Chinese morals and the school's cultural heritage
Encourages students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior
Strives to implement by instruction and action the school's philosophy of education and instructional goals and objectives
Strives to maintain and improve professional competence
Attends staff meetings and orientations
Performs other related duties as requested or assigned
