Aoba-Japan International School’s Bunkyo Campus is seeking a passionate and experienced Japanese A Language and Literature Teacher for its International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
The Bunkyo Campus serves students aged 16–18. The teacher will inspire students through Japanese language and literature, plan and deliver rigorous IB Diploma lessons, support inquiry and critical analysis, assess and communicate student progress, and contribute to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative international-school community.
Requirements:
• Recognized bachelor’s degree and teaching qualification or certification
• Strong Japanese language and literature subject knowledge
• Experience teaching IB Diploma Japanese A: Language and Literature
• Demonstrated high-level teaching ability
• Academic English proficiency
• Kind, empathetic, collaborative, and student-centred approach
• Commitment to student growth and an inclusive learning environment
• Multilingual ability and postgraduate qualifications are advantageous
