Osaka International School of Kwansei Gakuin is seeking an experienced part-time Spanish Language Teacher starting in April 2027. The teacher will deliver the two-year IB Diploma Programme Spanish ab initio course to Grades 11 and 12 at OIS and beginner, basic, and standard Spanish language acquisition classes to high school students at Senri International School. The role requires adapting curriculum content and teaching methods for different ability levels, using a student-centered and differentiated approach, collaborating with faculty, communicating with parents, and writing reports in English. Spanish-language teaching experience is required, preferably in an IB or international school. IB Diploma lesson planning, teaching philosophy, and assessment experience are advantageous; IB training is available if needed. The position is a year-long local-hire contract with the possibility of renewal.
Competitive pay calculated according to the number of classes taught and inclusive of holidays, plus a commuting allowance. The position typically provides 12–14 teaching hours per week per trimester, subject to curriculum needs. IB training is available if required. This is a local-hire position intended for a teacher already residing in Japan; relocation and full-time allowances are not included.
