Job Description

International School Bangkok is seeking an experienced High School French Teacher for a part-time 0.4 appointment during the 2026–2027 school year. This is a one-year, local-hire contract beginning 3 August 2026.

Responsibilities

Provide meaningful French-language learning aligned with the ISB curriculum and ACTFL standards.
Develop students’ language proficiency, cultural understanding, and international-mindedness.
Assess learning, provide timely feedback, and differentiate for students requiring support or extension.
Collaborate with counselors, administrators, colleagues, parents, and guardians.
Participate in professional learning, supervision, school activities, and student trips.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
Valid teacher certification.
At least three years of recent, relevant teaching experience.
Experience teaching French to high-school students and non-native language learners.

ACTFL experience, inquiry-based teaching, and data-informed instruction are preferred. Candidates must meet the school’s safeguarding and background-check requirements.
