Taipei American School seeks a Food Handler for its kitchen team in Taipei, Taiwan. This is a 10-month position each school year. Schedule: 07:00–15:30, including a 30-minute lunch break.
Prepare sandwiches, salads, fruit and vegetables; clean utensils; set up, restock and clean food-service areas; assemble lunches and support internal/catering deliveries and returns. Follow chef and food-service management instructions and assist colleagues as needed.
Requirements: high school graduation, at least one year of restaurant experience and a Class C technician certificate in Chinese or Western cuisine cookery. Applicants need sanitation knowledge, attention to food quality and the ability to work flexibly, quickly and accurately. Basic English reading is an advantage.
